Job Summary:
The Food and Beverage service staff of The Founders Golf Club delivers exceptional dining service, both in a restaurant setting and banquet setting, to the Club’s members and guests. A warm and friendly demeanor, excellent team-centric skills and sincere caring attitude are essential.

Physical Requirements:
Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to function in an outdoor environment with high heat indexes consistent with a Florida climate. Will be subject to noises, wet floors and food preparation equipment as consistent with a commercial kitchen environment, as well as a high-paced and, at times, stressful work conditions consistent to that of a busy restaurant.
Required Skills and Education:
Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), a flexible schedule, willing to work nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to quickly learn computer skills as required for inputting orders through the Club’s point of sale (POS) system.
Primary Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Taking and entering food and drink orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Carrying trays to deliver food and clear tables, always being willing to help a coworker
- Communicating clearly with members, guests, supervisors and coworkers
- Making menu item recommendations and answering questions related to food and beverage products and services
- Preparing bill and taking payments
- Cleaning dining areas and work areas, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation at all times
- Executing side work, including, but not limited to, opening duties and closing duties and all other food service-related tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Setting rooms and moving tables and chairs as needed for dining and general club events
- Maintaining neat, clean or professional appearance at all times
- Adhere to club standards in regards to mannerisms, behavior, club policies and decorum
- Comply with equipment usage guidelines and safety regulations
- Proactively communicating any safety or operational concerns to supervisors in a timely manner
- Execute all other tasks as required by supervisor and attending periodic, mandatory meetings
