Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ability to read, write, and interpret blueprints.
• Estimate height, width, length, and other proportions.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other carpenter replated equipment such as measuring tape, levels, framing squares, etc.
• Ability to assess the quality of work and materials along the way to ensure it is up to code and specifications.
• Assist the Director of Clubhouse Operations with planning, layout, and installation of various projects.
• Conduct repair work including but not limited to; installation of doors, windows, dry wall, floors, ceiling tiles, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to sit for long periods of time, also ability to climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Safety Responsibilities:
• Actively demonstrates, encourages, and models safety rules in accordance with the law.
• Reports safety or hazard concerns to management immediately.
• Reports on the job injuries to management immediately.
Qualification-Requirements Experience - Education
• Takes personal responsibility for safety every day.
• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
• Previous carpentry experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and holidays if needed.
Salary : $20 - $22
