Duties and Responsibilities:
• Leader of the back of the house.
• Work closely with the front of the house.
• Inspect and ensure everything in the kitchen is clean, organized, sanitizer to DHEC standards.
• Responsible for inventory, purchases, recipes, financial goals, guidelines set forth by company.
• Managing inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked for service.
• Partners with HR to hire new staff and provide training to facilitate quick acclimation.
• Streamlining the kitchen process to maintain prompt service times.
• Develop and maintain the restaurant menu.
• Ensure staff is educated on changes that affect the operation.
• Daily communication.
• Ensure quality preparation and presentation in a timely service manner.
• Coach and counsel associates.
• Setting regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifying that staff is maintaining sanitation levels.
• Creating schedules for all kitchen staff.
• Identify areas of potential waste and operational improvements.
• Administrative duties.
Qualifications
Experience-Qualifications
• Previous cooking experience required.
• Previous kitchen management experience preferred.
• ServeSafe Certified or able to complete
Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
