Dining Room and In-Room Dinning Attendant
Part-Time
(AM Shift Availability, Candidates must be available on all major holidays including Thanksgiving and Christmas.)
SUMMARY
The Dining Room and In-Room Dining Attendant is responsible for:
- Clear, clean, reset tables, maintain cleanliness of floor and restaurant, and assist servers in accordance with the company standards.
- Accurately process guest orders using the POS Terminal, prepare items for service, keep work areas clean, collect dining room trays, complete required paperwork, and perform assigned cleaning tasks.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Dining Room and In-Room Dining Attendant primary responsibilities will include:
Dining Room Responsibilities
- Complete daily tasks and duties as assigned by management.
- Maintain control and cleanliness of the restaurant during peak hours.
- Keep workstations clean and organized throughout your shift.
- Complete all assigned opening, running, and closing side work.
- Ensure proper placement of table settings, silverware, and decor.
- Inspect tables, tabletops, floors, and chairs to meet company cleanliness standards.
- Reset tables efficiently to minimize turnaround time.
- Communicate effectively between the hostess stand and servers to ensure accurate wait times.
- Keep the chemical closet and cleaning supplies (brooms, dustpans, mops) clean and organized.
- Assist servers as needed.
In-Room Dining Responsibilities
- Help maintain a safe working environment for both guests and employees.
- Represent the company professionally by wearing a clean and neat uniform.
- Record and communicate all guests in room orders to the kitchen using the POS Terminal.
- Prepare and gather all necessary items (silverware, drinks, food, etc.) before delivering guest orders.
- Maintain designated work areas before clocking out for your shift.
- Collect dining room trays at the end of your shift.
- Accurately complete and submit all mandatory paperwork to your immediate supervisor before forwarding to the Front Desk.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks as assigned by your supervisor or manager on duty.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITY
- Must be a minimum of 15 years old in compliance with labor laws.
- Must possess basic reading and writing skills necessary to perform daily functions and successfully fulfill training and testing requirements.
- Basic communication skills are required to provide guest service interaction.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
- Must work well with others and possess the ability to work without constant supervision.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Education –No formal education needed.
- Experience – One year experience in related field preferred
