BASIC FUNCTION:
The Lead Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming pool environment for all guests. In addition to general pool area upkeep, this role includes supervisory responsibilities such as managing the Pool Attendants’ schedule and assisting with training new team members. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, guest-focused, and capable of leading by example to ensure exceptional guest experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily maintenance of the pool area, including cleaning, organizing furniture, setting up umbrellas, and replenishing towels.
- Monitor the pool grounds to ensure safety, cleanliness, and overall guest satisfaction.
- Create and manage the Pool Attendants’ schedule to always ensure adequate coverage.
- Assist with training and onboarding of new pool attendants.
- Act as the point of contact for the lifeguard/pool attendant team in the absence of a manager.
- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Support lifeguards in maintaining order and upholding pool rules and hotel policies.
- Report any safety concerns or maintenance needs to management promptly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to remain focused and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in a hospitality or poolside role preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
