Painter

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and an understanding of color theory. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including residential and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client expectations. The Painter will also be responsible for fixture installation and collaborating with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Mix and match paint colors according to specifications and color theory principles.
• Install fixtures and perform minor repairs as needed during the painting process.
• Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and other trades to ensure project completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of each project.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Skills

• Proficient in construction painting techniques and methods.
• Strong understanding of color theory and its application in various settings.
• Experience with masonry work and stucco application is preferred.
• Ability to perform maintenance person tasks related to fixture installation and minor repairs.
• Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with plastering methods is beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
