WAREHOUSE AND LOGISTICS MANAGER
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Warehouse and Logistics Manager (WLM) works in the organization and maintenance of Fountain Electric’s Charlotte division warehouse, office, and Charlotte area construction sites. The position is based in Charlotte, NC and will require regular daily assignments at our Charlotte office and frequent assignments at construction sites within the division. Specific tasks are determined by the Company Facilities Manager in conjunction with the HQ Warehouse Manager, and Project managers. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Organization of parts and materials
- Organization of tools and equipment
- Management of shipping and receiving
- Assist Charlotte Division Manager with various tasks
- Custodial duties at each facility
- Other general warehousing duties as assigned
SCHEDULE:
This position will require the employee to work a consistent schedule beginning each weekday Monday thru Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm. There is a lunch break period of 30 minutes per shift. There will be occasional extended hours requirements per demand on the warehouse and facilities departments. The assistant will be required to report to our Charlotte office/warehouse as determined by the warehouse and/or facilities managers.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Standing/Upright work
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Pass a mandatory drug test
Must have organizational skills
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be comfortable pulling utility trailers
Forklift experience is required
