Non-Medical Caregiver (1099 Contractor)

Job Overview
As a Non-Medical Caregiver, you will provide essential support to clients, assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. Your role is vital in helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life within their homes.

Duties

• Personal Care Assistance: Help clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.​
• Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take their medications as prescribed, providing timely reminders.​
• Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
• Light Housekeeping: Perform tasks like cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe and tidy living environment.​
• Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.​
• Mobility Support: Assist clients with mobility, including transfers from bed to chair, and encourage safe physical activity.​
• Transportation: Provide or arrange transportation to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.​
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, empathy, and patience.​
• Certifications: CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus.​
• Transportation: Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.​
• Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
