What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fire Alarm/Low Voltage Service Technician position at Four Feathers Alarm?

Looking for an experienced technician to service and install fire alarms and other low voltage systems including Burglary, Access Control, CCTV, Mass Notification, Intercom and Data, among others.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years industry experience & verifiable employment history
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
- Valid Texas FAL or Oklahoma Commercial Fire & Burglary License
- Working knowledge of fire code and installation requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to install, service and inspect all components of fire alarm systems
- Working knowledge of Notifier, other Honeywell fire alarm systems
- Knowledge of DMP security, DMP Entre access control, and IP camera systems a plus
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Availability to work various hours, including days, nights, weekends and on-call rotation when necessary
- Basic computer skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to learn new systems and advance in capabilities
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm and low voltage systems in accordance with NFPA standards.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installations.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Conduct system inspections and troubleshoot issues, ensuring optimal performance of alarm systems.
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.

We have diverse low voltage abilities including commercial and residential fire alarms, burglary alarms, and systems including CCTV, access control, mass notification, intercom, data, fiber optics, phone, and home automation. We are a Notifier distributor serving clients in the commercial, gaming, industrial, educational, healthcare, utility and governmental industries in North Texas and Southern Oklahoma.
