Job Title : Housekeeper / Family Assistant (Part-Time)
Location : New Braunfels, TX 78130
Job Type : Part-Time (16 hours per week, split between two families)
About the Role :
We are looking for a dedicated and highly organized Housekeeper / Family Assistant to assist with the management and upkeep of two busy households. This part-time role offers 16 hours per week, split between both homes. You will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, ensuring that both households run smoothly and efficiently.
Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday, 8 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM
Key Responsibilities :
Cleaning : Oversee and maintain cleanliness of both homes, including routine cleaning and organizing.
Laundry : Manage laundry needs, including washing, ironing, folding, and organizing.
Vehicle Maintenance : Ensure that vehicles are well-maintained, including scheduling regular maintenance and handling car-related tasks (e.g., fueling, cleaning, and managing repairs).
Travel Preparation : Assist in preparing for travel, including packing, organizing travel logistics, and ensuring everything is ready for family trips.
Household Organization : Maintain an orderly home environment, ensuring everything is in its place and easy to find.
Errands : Run errands as needed, including grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, and other household tasks.
Occasional Childcare : Assist with occasional afterschool pick-ups, school holidays, and other childcare needs as required. This may include supervising children, preparing meals, and engaging in activities.
Requirements :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in cleaning and housekeeping.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in childcare or assisting with children's needs.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and anticipating needs.
Comfortable working independently.
Ability to manage multiple tasks across two households.
Knowledge of basic cleaning, laundry, and vehicle care.
Flexibility and reliability to accommodate both families' needs.
Must pass a clean background check.
Must have a clean driving record.
Must have reliable transportation.
Flexible work schedule with the possibility of occasional adjustments based on family needs.
