We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our home health team in New Braunfels, TX . As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients of all ages to help them develop, recover, or maintain the skills necessary for daily living and working. You will play a key role in creating personalized therapy plans, providing direct patient care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess patients' physical, emotional, and social needs through evaluation and consultation.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to enhance patients' ability to perform daily activities.
- Work with patients to improve skills in areas such as motor coordination, mobility, cognition, and sensory processing.
- Educate patients and their families about adaptive strategies and assistive devices.
- Document patient progress and update treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care.
- Stay current with best practices and evidence-based methods in occupational therapy.
