Local Fast Food Restaurant Group is looking for a new General Manager to lead their team here in the Des Moines Area. Prior GM experience is essential as well as a positive attitude and the desire to train and mentor others.
Duties
- Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve high standards in service and food quality.
- Oversee daily operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper food handling practices are followed.
- Implement training programs for new staff on kitchen management, food production, and customer service.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
- Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in a fast-food or restaurant environment.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems for efficient transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
- Experience in kitchen management and food production processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
