What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security position at Four Points by Sheraton Asheville Downtown?
Hotel Security ensures the protection of of guests and their valuables, as well as fellow team members. They work closely with all departments in ensuring that spaces are secure when not in use and protect the goods of the hotel.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Patrolling all areas of the hotel property including outside parking lots.
- Reporting any unusual circumstances, safety violations, car theft, destruction, and/or suspicious behaviors.
- Document a concise security report on a daily log including incidents of theft, accidents and safety violations. Conduct investigations of all security incidents.
- Maintaining familiarity of all hotel disaster and emergency policies, procedures and regulations
- Responding immediately to emergency alarms or calls for help, determining course of action, and calling for property response.
- Complete the necessary security forms to document losses of property or personal injury to guest or employee.
- Assist front desk as needed. Examples but not limited to: Answering phone calls at front desk if needed, performing basic inquiries, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
