Four Points by Sheraton β Lake Norman is looking for a detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. The Night Auditor will be responsible for balancing daily financial transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the security and safety of the hotel and its guests.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform end-of-day reporting and balance all financial transactions for the day, including verifying room charges, handling cash, and reconciling the cash drawer.
- Provide a high level of customer service to guests during the night shift, addressing any inquiries, concerns, or requests promptly and professionally.
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, ensuring a seamless experience for arriving and departing patrons.
- Monitor hotel security and safety protocols, conducting regular property checks to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Prepare and distribute nightly reports and logs, detailing occupancy, revenue, and any unusual occurrences during the shift.
- Assist guests with luggage, directions, or any other requests they may have during their stay.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure all hotel policies and procedures are followed during the night shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area throughout the shift.
- Respond to emergency situations and follow proper protocols for handling incidents.
Qualifications:
- 1 years night audit experience required.
- 1 Year Lightspeed and Empower GXP experience required.
- Must be available to work Friday and Saturday night from 11pm-7am.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours, demonstrating self-motivation and responsibility.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficient in using computer systems, including hotel management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle cash and financial transactions accurately.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
