Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with guests, providing recommendations and upselling menu items to enhance their dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment regularly.
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food safety practices.
- Utilize systems such as OpenTable and Aloha POS for reservations, orders, and guest management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage preparation techniques, and food safety standards.
- Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
