Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining the bar area, and providing excellent service to our patrons in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, such as Aloha POS.
- Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations in the food industry.
- Assist with banquet services or special events as needed, ensuring timely service during high-volume periods.
- Demonstrate basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
Experience
- Previous experience in a bartending role or within the restaurant or food industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and retail math is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and an eagerness to learn more about mixology trends.
