We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and providing information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system or cash register.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring that all orders are delivered accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe dining environment.
- Assist in training new staff members as needed, sharing knowledge of menu items and service standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong guest relations skills with an emphasis on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with cash registers or POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is advantageous.
- Knowledge of culinary practices and food handling standards is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
