Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, and specialty drinks
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and take orders promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glassware
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and managing tabs
- Collaborate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Upsell drinks and promote specials to enhance guest experience
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests by providing excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a high-volume or fine dining establishment
- Proficiency in mixing drinks and creating unique cocktails
- Knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and garnishes
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems
- Understanding of food service principles and customer service best practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS) is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
