What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Service Agent - Part Time position at Four Points by Sheraton Orlando Convention Center?
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Register guests and assign rooms, ensuring all required information is obtained
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest accounts
- Assist with reservations and room bookings as needed
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel management or guest services is preferred (LightSpeed PMS preferred)
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including reservation software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable
