Job Summary:
As the Assistant General Manager, you will support the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring that we deliver exceptional guest service and achieve operational excellence. You will play a key role in leading and developing our team, enhancing guest satisfaction, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in managing day-to-day hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Ensure that guest service standards are consistently met and exceeded, addressing any guest concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
- Support the development and implementation of operational strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Train, mentor, and lead team members to enhance their performance and encourage career growth.
- Monitor and analyze hotel performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring adherence to financial goals and standards.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure smooth communication and teamwork across all areas of the hotel.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Act as the General Manager in their absence, representing the hotel to guests, staff, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel management or operations, with at least 2 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of Food and Beverage, Hotel operations, and guest service standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
