We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Breakfast Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all food and beverage orders are delivered accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Accurately input orders into the POS system and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Monitor tables to provide attentive service, refilling drinks, and addressing any guest needs or concerns.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
- Buffet Setup and Take Down daily.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Proficiency in using POS systems; familiarity with OpenTable and Door Dash is a plus.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain health standards.
- Excellent guest relations skills to enhance the dining experience.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
