Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
- Buss tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations to guests.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for checks.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean work environment.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS or similar software.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating bills.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
