What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Setup position at Four Points by Sheraton?
Job Summary
This job requires a lot of lifting. This person will be responsible for setting up the events. A weekly meeting will be conducting in order to ensure all the details are in place. A calendar will be handed and must be accordingly to when the rooms must be ready. You are required to set up tables, chairs, dance floors, or anything else requested by the customer. If you need an extra income this is the perfect job. When we have big events that required catering you will have the opportunity of working the event for some extra cash.
Duties
- Set up items requested by customer.
- Clean up the day after or hours after the event.
- Be able to manage time so the event space can be ready on time.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving any issues that mayest activities to ensure safety and compliance with venue policies.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized environment throughout the facility.
- Support conflict management efforts by remaining calm and professional in challenging situations.
Experience
Ideal candidates will possess skills or experience in the following areas:
- Hospitality or resort environments, showcasing strong guest services skills.
- Background in theater or entertainment venues is a plus.
- Strong conflict management abilities to handle guest concerns professionally.
- Customer service expertise to create memorable experiences for all guests.
