We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel General Manager/Director of Sales to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. As the Hotel General Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the hotel, including guest services, staff management, and ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all hotel operations to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Oversee front desk operations, including night audit processes and guest check-in/check-out procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest relations and improve customer service.
- Manage human resources functions, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
- Monitor financial performance and manage budgets effectively to achieve operational goals.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development among staff.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly to ensure a satisfactory resolution.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the hotel’s services and amenities effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong background in guest services with excellent customer service skills.
