Responsibilities
- Operate laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and dry cleaning machines, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold various types of linens and garments according to established procedures.
- Inspect items for stains or damage and apply appropriate cleaning methods or report issues as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness in the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and workspaces.
- Ensure that all laundry is processed in a timely manner to meet operational needs.
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery.
- Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure that guest requests are fulfilled promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a laundry or dry cleaning environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hotel operations is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
