What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervised Visitation Program Director position at Four Points, Inc.?
The Program Director is responsible for the overall management of the Supervised Visitation Program, including case management, supervision of paid and unpaid program staff, and oversight of the facility for use by clients. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Program Liaison to Executive Director
Attend staff meetings
Attend other meetings as required with the Co-Directors.
Keep the Directors apprised of facility status and case management
Submit time sheets as required
Other duties as assigned by the Co-Directors.
Program Staff Supervision
Provide program training for program staff
Aid in screening potential program staff by established standards and procedures
Provide ongoing training and guidance to program staff
Maintain regular contact and supervision of program staff to assure quality case management
Review all documentation prior to submission to court under subpoena
Conduct evaluations of program staff
Discipline and/or terminate program staff as required
Receive and maintain required documentation from program staff
Maintain appropriate records and documentation on program staff
Develop and maintain positive relationships with college and university professionals for student intern recruitment
Case Management
Receive referral forms from referral sources regarding new cases
Arrange intake appointments for visiting and custodial parties as well as children at issue
Set visitation schedule and supervision level, if not set by referral source
Set visitation goals and revise as needed
Observe and supervise visits between child and visiting party
Aid parties, including children, in meeting visit goals
Make appropriate referrals to the family for other service providers
Maintain case files with all documentation
Prepare all documentation for case management
Assign student interns to cases as necessary
Maintain a database of cases, including file maintenance
Ensure clients complete Client Satisfaction questionnaires at exit
Community and Public Relations
Increase public awareness of the supervised visitation program
Ensure all printed material is current and professional
Conduct public speaking engagements as requested by the Directors.
Develop and maintain proactive relationships with all community partners
Agency and Program Planning
Attend meetings with the Co-Directors and other staff
Prepare all reports required by affiliations and funders as requested by the Co-Directors
Maintain program compliance with affiliations
Track caseload and student interns to ensure growth
Aid in the development and modification (as needed) of the strategic plan for the program
Attend and participate in conferences, meetings, and workshops for program development
Aid in the development and maintenance of student intern training
Conduct regular inspections of the visitation areas
Provide the Co-Directors with reports regarding the maintenance of the facility for visitation
Aid any service providers obtained for repair, renovation, or construction of the facility in completing tasks
Resource Development and Maintenance
Assist with grant preparation
Prepare grant reports as required by the Co-Directors.
Participate in fundraising activities
Community and Public Relations
Increase public awareness of the supervised visitation program
Ensure all printed material is current and professional
Conduct public speaking engagements as requested by the Co-Directors.
Develop and maintain proactive relationships with all community partners
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in human services or commensurate work experience. Candidates should have a history of demonstrating strong skills in the key responsibilities of the position. Previous experience working with the court system, adult and child victims of domestic violence, families in crisis, and other social service skills are given priority.

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
