Job Summary:
Jellystone Park at Lake Charles is seeking a friendly, customer-service-oriented Front Office Team Member! This role involves maximum guest interaction, requiring excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and helping families create great camping memories, we’d love to have you on our team!
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting guests with inquiries, complaints, and general campground information.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling customer information.
- Answer phones, return messages, and respond to emails in a professional manner.
- Work with reservation software to take reservations, check guests in and out, and assemble check-in packets.
- Process payments and handle financial transactions, including closing the register and counting change.
- Scan and photocopy documents as needed.
- Open and close the office following park procedures.
- Learn the layout of the campground, lodging units, and amenities to better assist guests.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams regarding check-ins, check-outs, site issues, firewood deliveries, and propane fills.
- Handle paperwork related to guest check-ins, check-outs, and other front office operations.
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills and a willingness to go above and beyond for guests.
- Comfortable handling customer complaints and resolving issues professionally.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask in a busy environment.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
