Job Summary:The Recreation Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Recreation Department. This role involves leading a team of Recreation Team Members, planning and executing activities and events, and ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and support a team of Recreation Team Members
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all recreation activities, games, crafts, and special events
- Ensure all activities are executed on time, safely, and with high energy
- Train and schedule recreation staff to ensure full coverage and excellent performance
- Maintain inventory of recreation supplies and ensure proper setup/clean-up of activity areas
- Monitor and respond to guest feedback, adjusting plans as needed
- Step in to lead activities and events as necessary
- Uphold company standards for safety, cleanliness, and guest service
- Assist in the hiring and onboarding of new recreation staff
- Maintain knowledge of park amenities, policies, and schedules to assist guests as needed
- Previous experience in recreation, event planning, hospitality, or a related field
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong customer service focus and a positive, approachable attitude
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Reliable transportation and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- CPR/First Aid certification a plus
