Full job description
With a commitment to excellence, innovation, and the development of our employees, we are looking for a seasoned Controller to join our dynamic finance team. Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, problem solver, and leader who is passionate about driving financial performance and operational efficiency. As a Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing our company's financial accounting, reporting, and internal control systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial insights to support the company's growth and profitability objectives.
Responsibilities :
· Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
· Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
· Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, providing strategic insights and analysis to senior management.
· Manage cash flow forecasting and oversee financial risk management practices.
· Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safeguard company assets.
· Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure findings are addressed promptly.
· Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
· Drive process improvements and system implementations to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· At least 4 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in a Controller position.
· Ability to multi-task and attention to detail and accuracy
· Strong leadership and team management skills, with a record of accomplishment of developing high-performing teams.
· Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across departments and with senior management.
· Advanced computer skills in MS office and QuickBooks
Desired Characteristics:
· Must be detailed and results-oriented
· Bilingual in Mandarin and English - exceptional verbal and written communication is a plus.
· Great problem-solving skills
· Able to multi-task, prioritized and work on several projects at the same time
· Able to follow-through tasks without supervision
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,403.64 - $108,873.20 per year
