Four Season Travel is a rapidly growing tourism operator based in Southern California. Our divisions consist of charter bus, inbound and outbound tour operations, and tour bus maintenance. We are proudly providing travel services to tour & coach operators around the world. Our fleet currently includes around 50 full size luxury coaches and cover all western states, with contract carriers providing services for the rest of the country and Canada. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality service, top-of-the-line buses, and exceptional tour experience for all travel needs. This position will utilize product knowledge and software systems to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency of the overall vehicle fleet accurately and proactively.
POSITION
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee our company's fleet operations. As a Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our fleet of vehicles. This is a critical role that ensures the safe and efficient operation of our transportation assets. You will utilize product knowledge and software systems to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency of the overall vehicle fleet accurately and proactively.
Training is provided for those who are not proficient.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Emergency Response: Quickly respond to calls from bus drivers or dispatchers for assistance during breakdowns, accidents, or other emergencies, often traveling to the bus location.
- Diagnostic Skills: Utilize strong diagnostic skills to identify and troubleshoot mechanical problems, including engine issues, electrical problems, and transmission malfunctions.
- Repair and Maintenance: Perform necessary repairs or provide temporary fixes to safely get buses back on the road. This may include changing tires, jump-starting batteries, and addressing minor engine issues. If the problem is beyond your capability, you will coordinate with and dispatch a mechanic for further assistance.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all repairs and assistance adhere to safety regulations and standards, prioritizing passenger safety.
- Customer Service: While your primary focus is on resolving mechanical issues, you'll also need to interact with bus drivers, passengers, and other motorists. Effective communication and customer service skills are essential for this aspect of the job.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services provided, detailing problems, actions taken, parts used, and recommendations for further repairs or maintenance.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep service vehicles and equipment in good working condition through regular maintenance.
- Availability: Be prepared to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as breakdowns can occur at any time.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bilingual English and Chinese (Required)
- Mechanic knowledge
- Diesel repair experience (preferred)
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently

Pay: $5,500.00 - $6,800.00 per month
