WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE – FOUR SEASONS BUILDING PRODUCTS

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced, thriving business located in Salem, Oregon . In this role, you will support general warehouse activities (see below). A strong focus on customer satisfaction, efficient order processing and safety are a key element of working with Four Seasons Building Products.
Warehouse Associate responsibilities can include the need to:
- Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication and transportation of goods.
- Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Keeping aisles clear. Stack or pile materials, such as aluminum roof panels and parts.
- Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
- Continuously update product knowledge. Stay informed and educated as to product inventory and applicability. Know location of merchandise in warehouse.
- Verify computations against physical count of stock. Participate in physical inventories (counts).
- Maintain condition of work area. Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same. Inform manager of any potentially hazardous conditions.
- Receive and fill orders or sell supplies, materials, and products to installers and subcontractors.
- May drive truck to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials to designated locations or operate forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- The work environment and expectations for this role include:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes. Ability to make repetitive movements including, but not limited to, bending or squatting or using a 10-key or calculator.
- Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery and loud noise which may cause discomfort.
- You will need to demonstrate how to select correct processes from prescribed rules, past practices or instruction. You should be comfortable seeking advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor (deviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisor).
- Under close supervision, you should be comfortable exercising limited latitude/independent judgment. Work typically involves detailed checks or close review of output by a senior co-worker and/or supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be eighteen years of age / Must pass a Drug Test / Must pass a Background Check / HS Diploma or GED,strongly preferred.
Preferred candidates will have previous warehouse and forklift experience.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
