About the Role :
Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans is seeking a Door Attendant to join our dynamic team. We are looking for someone with excitement and dedication in serving our guests. Our Door Attendant is responsible for greeting and welcoming guests, accommodating special requests whenever possible, assisting guests in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, and arranging for cars to be parked / retrieved.
What you will do :
- Greet guests at the Hotel's front drive upon arrival and departure
- Unloads guest luggage from car, tags and issues claim tickets to the guest. Escorts hotel guests to the Front Desk for check-in. Transfers luggage to the Bell Staff.
- Assist guests as necessary with travel arrangements
- Retain exceptional knowledge of hotel services and amenities offered
- Ensure each guest is greeted promptly, courteously, graciously with eye contact, and a smile
- Assures the smooth flow of traffic on the drive by directing guest cars and taxis to the appropriate positions and directing valet parkers to park cars.
- Provides guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the city and its attractions. Hails taxis as needed. Loads luggage in car for departing guests.
- Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints, assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, etc.
