Job Summary:
Resort Assistant Manager: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop strong supervisory and managerial skills, overseeing the Front Office operation, managing staff, and ensuring seamless execution of guest arrival, departure, and billing processes.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Front Office operations, including transportation, concierge, front desk, PBX, and guest services.
- Interview, train, and schedule staff, conducting performance evaluations and addressing performance issues when necessary.
- Coordinate arrivals, departures, and billing requirements for all guests, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with financial and credit procedures, following up on credit problems with the Director of Front Office and/or Credit Manager.
- Resolve customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, providing exceptional hospitality and professionalism.
- Check guests in and out efficiently, assigning rooms according to their preferences and charging the correct rate.
- Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in other areas, such as Concierge, Bell Staff, Business Center, and lobby coverage.
