Four Season Lawn and Pest is seeking quality-driven, organized, hardworking, and self-motivated individuals to fill our Pest Control Technician position.
To be successful in this position, the technician is responsible for providing effective pest control services to residential and commercial properties. Your primary task will be to apply pest control treatments around the perimeter of buildings, ensuring the elimination and prevention of pest infestations. The ideal candidate would have prior experience and a valid applicator's license.
Essential Duties:
- Inspect properties to identify pest issues and recommend treatments
- Apply pesticides safely and per regulations.
- Maintain accurate service records.
- Educate clients on pest prevention.
- Stay updated on industry techniques and safety protocols.
- Follow safety guidelines and use PPE.
- Maintain equipment and vehicles.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Idaho State applicators license or licensed in MT, OR, UT, WA, WY and can obtain a reciprocal license in Idaho
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated
- Must be able to communicate with management, employees, and customers
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to lift heavy objects, work in all weather conditions, and stand for extended periods
- Pass employment screening
