As a Garden Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their gardening needs, maintaining the garden center, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
- Stocking and organizing plants, flowers, and gardening supplies
- Assisting customers in selecting the right plants and products for their needs
- Providing excellent customer service by answering questions and offering advice on gardening techniques
- Operating cash registers and handling cash transactions accurately
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the garden center
- Watering and caring for plants to ensure their health and appearance
- Assisting with merchandising displays to attract customers
- Communicating effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales or retail is preferred
- Horticulture/botany experience required
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and helpful demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
