About the location:

A rare gem on Florida’s Gulf Coast of Southwest Florida, Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort, is an exclusive collection of 156 luxurious beachfront private residences and a 220-room hotel all within a 125-acre walkable coastal village in the heart of Old Naples. Honoring local heritage and artfully reimagined for modern-day elegance, the resort includes residents-only facilities and amenities, a luxury spa and state-of-the-art well-being/fitness center, exquisite and diverse fine dining outlets, outdoor pursuits to include pickleball, tennis, and an 18-hour golf course, bowling and movie theater experiences, and an exclusive private club. The first of its kind, the Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort, is paradise found.

About the role:
Plan, organize, direct and control the work of employees and managers in the Food & Beverage Division of the resort while ensuring exceptional service and attention to guests.
What you will do:
  • Be a part of the pre-opening team.
  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline employees and managers in multiple Food & Beverage operations and outlets to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control while focusing on creative revenue generation solutions to maximize profit.
  • The ability to be visible in the operation, recognize and maintain relationships with regular guests as well as cultivate relationships with new patrons.
  • The ability to work closely with the Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to design an effective menu and wine list while ensuring excellent product quality.
  • Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met as well as attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors and chef partnerships.
  • Assist the Director of Food & Beverage in preparing Annual Budgets for the division.
  • Willing to work flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities, and willing to accept assignments on an as needed basis in order to promote teamwork. This includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Makes suggestions to improve revenue, reduce cost, and increase guest satisfaction.
  • Assures that Four Seasons Service and Culture standards are being met.
  • Leads and manages in a way that supports Four Seasons’ Brand and Philosophy.
  • Supports and creates programs and initiatives that encourage employee development, training, and career growth within the Food & Beverage Division.
  • Assist with service in all Food & Beverage outlets.
  • Assist with set-up and cleaning of operational areas.
Physical Requirements:
Lifting/Pushing/Pulling/Carrying
  • Lifting/pushing/pulling/carrying required – carry food items and materials, pushing and pulling equipment up to 75 lbs.
Bending/Kneeling
  • Bending/kneeling required – retrieve food items and production equipment and tools.
Mobility
  • Mobility required – supervise, demonstrate, and expedite in various outlet areas.
Continuous Standing
  • Continuous standing required.
What you bring:
  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • College degree preferably specializing in hotel or restaurant management, equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Three to five years previous experience in multiple food & beverage department head positions.
  • Proven leadership capabilities.
  • Experience is fine dining/high end dining is required.
  • Experience with Chef Partnerships is preferred.
  • Requires a working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
  • Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • Must be able to obtain any required food handling or sanitation certifications required by local or state agencies.
  • This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays. Day and evening shifts.
