The Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is looking for a talented and energetic Supervisor for our Food and Beverage Outlet Restaurant and Bar team. The Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations for the outlets, & restaurants in absence of the Food and Beverage Manager. This role will assist the Food and Beverage Manager in ensuring all staff adhere to Four Seasons standards. Responsible for supervising up to 12 employees per shift.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Supervise the consistency of quality and efficiency of food and service
- Utilize all computer systems relevant to the departments
- Execute the tasks of a host, server assistant, and/or bartender as needed
- Assist to schedule staff and complete payroll records in accordance with budgeted guidelines
- Order supplies and other amenities to ensure the restaurant or outlet par levels are adequate for smooth operations
- Participate in regular staff meetings to keep employees informed of hotel policies and changes as well as ways to increase sales and service
- Knowledge of all food and beverage items offered, including ingredients, methods of preparation and proper service
- Maintaining all standards within the restaurant including cleanliness, side work, and preparation for the restaurant
- Ensure guest area is maintained and in good repair
- Ensure that our guests are receiving 5 star service on a daily basis.
About the role
Ideal candidate will have:
- 1-3 years F&B experience, hotel /resort preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work both in indoor and outdoor environments
- A positive and upbeat attitude with a passion to lead people
- A valid Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card
- Day and night shifts required and flexibility to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays Must have the ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours per shift.
