Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. This role is essential for ensuring that our facilities operate efficiently and safely, providing a comfortable environment for all occupants. This position will allow for 2 or more days off a week depending on how many hours in a day you want to work. However, Saturday Sunday & Monday are required days to work.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on buildings, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Fabricate components as needed for repairs or improvements.
- Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory management.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues effectively.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and clients.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality service while maintaining safety standards.
