Four Star Freightliner is the Southeast region’s leading heavy and medium duty truck dealer that offers a complimentary line of Freightliner and Western Star brand trucks for both highway and vocational use.
**SERIOUS CANDIDATES ONLY**
We are expanding and are now looking for an experienced full-time Parts Delivery Driver for our Valley, Ala. dealership. The Parts Delivery Driver coordinates closely with Parts Department to get the right parts to the customers in timely manner.
Essential Functions Include but not Limited to :
- Pick and pull parts from warehouse to fill orders
- Ensure that parts being delivered match the customer’s invoice
- Must deliver customer parts in timely, accurate, safe, and friendly manner pickups to and from customer locations
- Maintain continuous communication with Parts team as to customer needs may arise while on delivery
- Maintain a professional appearance and ensure delivery vehicle is clean and well-maintained
- Must report any truck repairs to the Parts Manager or designated parts department team member
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed (e.g., put away stock, drive forklift, clean, etc.)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
- Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle and lift parts.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to OSHA Standards in some areas
