Assistant Community Manager

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Community Manager at one of our Fort Collins properties. This position will be working within a community office on site, and the main responsibilities will be vendor communication as well as assisting with leasing. While we often seek seasoned industry professionals, our main emphasis is discovering individuals who are compassionate and passionate to join our team.
Job Responsibilities
Property Management Requirements:
- Manage work orders, approve invoices and interface with vendors
- Delinquency management
- Resident communication and conflict management
- Drafting lease violation notices
- Drafting and Executing lease amendments as needed
- Assisting with property turnovers throughout the year
Administrative Requirements:
- Administrative processes surrounding on-boarding and off-boarding clients
- Managing our Online leasing Workflow
- Drafting legal documents
- Tracking all lease and accounting related processes from start to finish
- File organization and tracking
- Resident Mass Communication point of contact
- Use of software programs such as Yardi, Rentcafe, Badger Maps, others
- Help maintain our positive company culture
Leasing Requirements:
- Organize and perform showings for prospective tenants as needed
- Advertise current availability and maintain current portfolio knowledge
- Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email and walk-in visits
- Manually adjusting, updating, and monitoring pricing in Yardi
- Monitor, identify and troubleshoot inventory issues and make appropriate recommendations related to pricing and property condition as appropriate
Basic Requirements and Work Experience
- Must have valid drivers license.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required. Relevant bachelors degree is preferred
- Experience in multi-family property management is required
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Proven working experience as leasing agent is preferred.
- Detailed practice of administrative and clerical procedures
- Familiarity with MS Office and Yardi software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Persuasive with marketing and sales skills.
- A willingness to come in every day and help us improve upon what we did yesterday.
- Customer service orientation.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally.
- May require driving between company locations.
Compensation and Benefits
Annual Salary in the range of $56,500-$58,000
