What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant position at Four Star Sales?
Qualifications include a knowledge of accounting principles. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially excel, and preferably be familiar with QuickBooks. A candidate for this position must possess good time management skills, be highly accurate and detail oriented, and possess excellent verbal, written & organizational skills.
Primary bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities include duties such as bank and credit card reconciliations, A/P, A/R, sale proceeds preparation, and excel sheet comparisons. Additional administration duties include working with other staff members in preparation for auction sales and private sales.
A background that includes practical horse experience is preferred but not required. Related prior experience is also preferred but is also not a requirement for qualified candidates with other appropriate experience or appropriate course background.
The position offered is full-time, which offers health insurance & paid vacation. Though full time is preferred, part-time candidates that are an excellent fit will be considered. Salary commensurate with level of experience. All applications will be kept in the very highest level of confidence.
