Job Summary
Provides personalized banking services to bank customers by performing duties of a Teller and Personal Banker.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
- Process customer transactions promptly and accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing
- Identify and address customer needs, recommending appropriate banking products or services
- Ensure compliance with all banking policies and procedures
- Meet teller balancing standards monthly as stated in the Teller Over & Short Policy
- Detect and prevent potential fraud through vigilant monitoring
- Prepares and compiles new customer application and information to open new accounts
- Ensures completeness of all account documentation on new account set-up
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and relationship management
- Maintain confidentiality
- Experience in cash handling and financial sales preferred
- Knowledge of retail math, debits/credits, and financial software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction
- Familiarity with loan processing and relationship management within a banking environment
