SUMMARY:
Supports the Director Gaming Maintenance and the initiatives of the Gaming Department by utilizing CAD software organizational and analytical skills. Works to enhance the overall gaming product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Maintains and distributes complete and accurate casino layout drawings
- Works and assists where necessary with the Gaming Database Coordinator to create, input and address any Electronic Gaming Devices related issues
- Is familiar with all state and/or tribal gaming regulations
- Conducts on-site gaming audits
- Establishes organization of file storage on network
- Produces scale drawings of proposed or planned slot/table games relocations.
- Conducts on-site slot machine performance reviews with slot department management on a periodic basis
- Suggests possible adjustments to the slot machine layout, model mix, denomination mix, and hold percentages, based on report analysis, personal observation, and/or property suggestion
- Researches new gaming equipment
- Assists in property operational and procedural development
- Demonstrates a thorough working knowledge of all processes, testing, software, and hardware setups of various equipment including, but not limited to, pallet jack, forklift, and sign/engraving machines.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma required with at least two years slot experience or four years experience in related professional office environment.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills/attributes:
- Strong typing skills
- Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel, CAD; ability to learn additional computer applications
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail essential
- Ability to communicate in detail with associates at the property level
- Ability to organize and file data for future review and updating
This position requires a Level 2 Gaming License.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
