SUMMARY:
Responsible for preparation of cold food following established procedures and standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Prepares all cold food products for assigned restaurants as prescribed by menus.
• Executes preparation of all recipes according to recipe standards and production schedules.
• Controls quality presentation of all food products.
• Prepares, supplies and monitors the salad bar in the buffet.
• Maintains excellent kitchen hygiene conditions at all times.
• Maintains knowledge of all State Health Department regulations and adheres to all conditions and standards.
• Works in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized manner, abiding by all health and safety regulations.
• Prepares, portions, and garnishes of all foods.
• Breaks down, cleans and assembles various types of food service machinery associated with cold food production.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred. One to two years related experience in a large multi-outlet facility.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to perform basic math skills: addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
