SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing assistance to the Senior Property Manager by maintaining continuous contact with the supervisors from all departments to ensure efficient operations of the casino. Communicate with all property management on all matters related to guests and employees in accordance with established guidelines and property policies, procedures and gaming regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Ensures that the highest possible standards of guest services and employee relations are maintained and carried out in fair and equitable manner.
- Directs placement of employees for on the job training and assists in conducting training.
- May be asked to assist shift supervisors with scheduling employees and ensuring correct staffing levels and adjustments are made in accordance with guest needs.
- Monitors job performance progress of employees and provides feedback on same to aid the employee in developing and enhancing skills.
- Makes recommendations and suggestions to hire, transfer, suspend, promote, discharge, assign, evaluate, reward, or discipline the employees in his/her span of control.
- Provides input to Senior Property Manager concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention.
- Aids Senior Property Manager with administrative needs i.e. recordkeeping, time reports and counseling notices.
- Assist Senior Property Manager to ensure compliance with property policies and employee integrity levels.
- Assist with the coordination of investigations into employee and guest issues and concerns.
- Maintains current knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, compact, etc.) and regulations, as well as the property’s internal controls.
- Promotes property-wide promotions while developing guests play.
- Initiates and maintains communication with subordinates, employees, management, and all departments.
- May be required to act as manager on duty is the absence of higher management.
- May be required to act in the compacity of different department positions until proper coverage has been obtained.
- Must be flexible and available to work any shift, weekends and holidays.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises all Supervisors and or Managers in Training on assigned shift; indirectly supervises the activities of all staff on the operational team on a given shift.
May represent Four Winds Management personnel in the absence of other management staff at the Satellite Properties as necessitated by business needs.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
College degree preferred or equivalent experience. Supervisory/management experience required. One to two years casino experience preferred.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong organizational and communication skills required.
This position requires a Level 2 Gaming License.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to write effective reports and memos. Ability to respond to inquiries from employees or guests. Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to interpret data from graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations.
