Family Medicine Physician
At Naytawaush Clinic, we are seeking a qualified Family Medicine Physician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to patients of all ages, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.
- Perform various medical procedures such as incision and drainage, suturing, nail trephination, and more.
- Stabilize and evaluate cervical spine injuries, reduce dislocations and fractures, and deliver babies/emergency vaginal deliveries when necessary.
- Conduct venous punctures for lab studies, draw arterial blood gases, and interpret results.
- Administer intravenous, intramuscular, and subcutaneous medications as appropriate.
- Secure and maintain adequate airway by means such as oral airways, oral tracheal intubation, nasal/tracheal intubation, and cricothyrotomy (needle and surgical).
Requirements:
- Must be a Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) with the ability to treat patients of all ages.
- Current licensure in any state accepted.
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Work Environment:
- Located at Naytawaush Clinic, 238 Church St., Naytahwaush, MN 56566.
- Hours/Schedule: 8am to 5pm (30-minute lunch break).
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): RPMS.
Additional Requirements:
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration number.
- Ability to coordinate with accepting facilities and other ER departments when patient transport is needed.
