E-Commerce Manager

4T2D is an emerging e-commerce brand specializing in clothing that is versatile, functional, eco-friendly and made in Vermont at Fourbital Factory. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced E-commerce Manager to join our team and drive our online sales and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

The E-commerce Manager will play a pivotal role in building and developing our Shopify-based e-commerce program from the ground up. You will be responsible for establishing our online presence, optimizing our Shopify website, and implementing effective strategies to drive revenue growth and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This position requires strong project management skills, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a deep understanding of e-commerce best practices.

Responsibilities:

Building Online Presence

  • Develop a comprehensive plan to build and launch our e-commerce website Shopify, including selecting appropriate themes, apps, and integrations.
  • Lead the design and development of our Shopify website, ensuring a user-friendly interface, attractive layout, and seamless navigation.
  • Research and evaluate new Shopify features, apps, and integrations to stay ahead of the industry and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Implement effective product listing and merchandising strategies on Shopify to maximize visibility and sales potential.
  • Oversee the day-to-day execution and optimization of social/paid media campaign performance.

Drive Revenue Growth

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase online sales and meet revenue targets.
  • Optimize website performance on Shopify, including page load speed, mobile responsiveness, and search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as website traffic, sales conversion rates, and customer feedback, to optimize performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Oversee product listings, pricing, and promotions to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Collaborate with marketing agency to create compelling digital marketing campaigns and drive traffic to the website.
  • Assist in new product planning with the goal of aligning our marketing, site, and finance forecasts.

Customer Experience

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to establish streamlined processes for inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer support within the Shopify environment.
  • Manage inventory levels, forecasting, and fulfillment processes to ensure efficient order processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize analytics and data insights available through Shopify to identify trends, customer behaviors, and opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to enhance the e-commerce experience.

Education/Experience:

The E-commerce Manager position requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field. This position requires a minimum of 3-5 years’ of successful previous experience as an E-commerce Manager or in a similar role.

Physical requirements:

Work is usually performed in a standard office environment. Must have physical dexterity necessary to operate standard office equipment. Position requires limited movement in one location for long periods (whether sitting or standing) generally oriented around a desk. Occasional weekend/evening work and/or travel may be necessary.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Shopify e-commerce platform & framework, website management, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and social media marketing is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools and reporting; experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Ad Manager etc. to drive insights.
  • Ability to read, write, speak to designated audience and communicate interpersonally in a professional manner emphasizing tact, discretion and courtesy.
  • Ability to articulate, think and communicate strategically while maintaining a full understanding of the tactical objectives around project implementation.
  • Ability to prioritize and process multiple priorities, maintain composure under stress, and execute decisions in a timely manner.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and goal oriented (self-directed, proactive and able to define and execute projects independently).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $51,300.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
