You’ll be responsible for scaling and maintaining high-performance computing (HPC) environments, designing tools to enhance research capabilities, and supporting a state-of-the-art distributed computing infrastructure.
Qualifications :
- Educational Background : BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related IT field.
- Experience : 5-10 years in systems engineering, with hands-on expertise in managing and troubleshooting large-scale infrastructure.
- Networking Expertise : Strong understanding of network protocols (OSPF, BGP, PIM, IGMP) and experience with Arista, Cisco, or similar devices.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency with Unix / Linux, packet analysis tools (tcpdump, Wireshark), and data center management (power, cooling, fiber optics).
- Automation & Development : Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Salt, Python, Prometheus, Grafana, and GitHub is a plus.
- Problem-Solving : Excellent troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking challenges.
- Collaboration & Communication : Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for different audiences.
