Innovation is in our DNA.Summary : The Director of Pricing will be a key member of the Strategy team and will oversee the ticket pricing of all events in each Cosm VenueThe ideal candidate is a highly dynamic individual who has a rigorous attention to detail. The role will report into the Vice President, Head of Strategy and will contribute to overall pricing strategy, revenue management and venue revenue forecasting. This candidate would join a lean team with high visibility across a fast-growing, ambitious organization. Rapid advancement possible for strong performers. This is a full-time position.Responsibilities : Develop and manage overall ticket pricing strategy for Cosm VenuesSet day-to-day ticket pricing for all events across all open venuesCollaborate with product, engineering, and content operations teams to optimize pricing operationsTrack comparable ticket offerings in existing and future marketsConduct analysis on past performance of events to refine ongoing ticket pricing strategyCreate and present materials to brief senior leadership on results and prospective strategiesExperience and Qualifications : The ideal candidate has experience in management consulting, finance, and / or pricing strategy / operations at customer facing events businessesExperience in the sports media and / or technology industries5 years of leadership experience and at least 12 years of related experienceDeep fan-based knowledge of sports and sports mediaStrong statistical and finance-based analytical skillsCapacity to accept and respond to feedbackAbility to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysesComfortable with ambiguity – unhindered by change and uncertainty and can methodically work through complex problemsAbility to take a hypothesis-driven approach to big-picture analysis, think strategically, make data-driven insights, reach logical conclusions, and make compelling recommendationsStart-up DNA : Willing to roll up sleeves, do foundational work and test new approachesConfident and self-aware with excellent interpersonal and communication skillsHigh impact presence—capable of quickly establishing credibility, influencing constituencies, and persuading professionals at all levels within the organizationStrong visual presentation skills to deliver communications that align the organization behind a common visionThe annualized base salary range for this position in California is $160,000 to $215,000. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.Cosm is an equal opportunity employer.
