About the Position
The Project Superintendent manages field operations on assigned projects to maintain quality, customer relations, communication, schedule, and profitability. They are accountable for quality installation of the projects in our East Tennessee and Chattanooga region while staying within the project schedule, scope, and budget. This role serves as both a coordinating manager and client interface liaison. As the face of many day-to-day interactions, the Project Superintendent is a crucial participant in the relationship with the company, contractors, and the client.
Responsibilities
- Act as the day-to-day and primary company point of contact for assigned projects
- Schedule, coordinate, and supervise project work & deliveries to maintain quality, customer relations/communication, schedule, and profitability
- Ensure that Daily Logs & Safety reports are completed and submitted
- Develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Attend project meetings and document
- Maintain the project schedule to ensure timely completion of the project
- Ensure project work is in strict accordance with plans, specifications, and codes
- Coordinate to confirm that subcontractors are fully executing contracted scopes of work
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry with proven success managing multiple active job sites and projects
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and schematics
- Ability to resolve conflicts and make decisions under pressure
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems to oversee work and ensure correct installation and functionality
- Familiarity with ProCore or other related project management software
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification

- Pay Rate: Based on experience and expertise
